This card provides references to many common print sizes(e.g., newspaper headline size, textbook size, etc). The yellow color distinguishes it from other cards.
The front of the card is a standard acuity near card. The back of the card is a quick screening chart used to get a quick estimate of the starting baseline of the patient's acuity. For example, if the patient says they have a hard time reading the newspaper, their acuity is less than 20/50. If the patient says they have a hard time reading newspaper headlines, their acuity is less than 20/400, etc.
Snellen notation, Jaeger, M notation, Lower Case Point size, Size in mm, and Print Equivalents are all on the card.
